General Manager (Location Phuket)

444 Media is looking to hire a General Manager (GM) to manage the companies regional presence in Bangkok. Reporting to the MD, the role will manage business development, client services, and operations and execute on the company’s sales, marketing and growth strategies in the region.

Reporting to the MD, the GM’s responsibilities will include;
  • Manage the regions operations, including sales, client service and delivery planning, as the lead company
    representative for the area
  • Producing and implementing the companies regional strategy within the territory in collaboration with the CEO
    and MD
  • Developing commercial, client service and delivery processes within the region together with the companies
    core management team
  • Hiring and managing growth managers, account managers, and digital production staff as required matching
    service demand and supply
  • Motivating, performance managing, supporting and leading all regional staff ensuring highest performance
  • Developing and executing an area marketing and business development plan to attract target clientele
  • Producing short and long range revenue forecasts, client reports, and capacity plans, balancing workload and
    delivery effectively
  • Providing Digital marketing expertise and insights to clients and staff, being the resident company expert in the
  • Attending sales meetings with prospects, consulting with clients on digital marketing and media strategies
  • Leading client pitches, presentations and commercial negotiations, as the key point of contact for the company
  • Producing commercial proposals, cost estimations, and client contracts for approval
  • Developing campaign project plans, account plans, and delivery schedules in collaboration with head office
    delivery teams
  • Being the first point of contact for client and staff escalations, resolving them timeously
  • Liasing with Head-office management and delivery teams on capacity planning
  • Designing, implementing and regularly optimising regional processes to maximise productivity and
  • Conduct ongoing staff training and information sharing sessions on companies plans, processes, systems, and
    digital offerings
  • Representing the company in digital industry and client networking events as an ambassador for the company

Qualifications and Experience
  • Undergrad University Degree in Commerce, Economics, Entrepreneurship etc
  • Advanced commerce or technical degree such as MBA, MSc / Mcom in Digital a distinct advantage
  • 10+ years business management experience, with direct responsibility for AOP’s and P&L within a division
  • Minimum 4+ years working experience in a Digital solution environment, preferably Digital Marketing
  • Track record in Digital Marketing Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and Production
  • Knowledgeable in all Paid, Owned and Earned Digital Platforms (Platform Certifications a plus)
  • Well networked in the local Digital Industry, with a deep understanding of the Digital market
  • Experience in developing and producing Digital Campaigns for various clients and industries
  • Abreast of latest Digital Marketing digital tools, technologies, platforms and channels
  • At least 5+ years people management and leadership experience with direct reports
  • Strong ability to translate creative or business ideas into plans, proposals, projects and commercial strategies
  • Exceptional English communication (Read, Write, Verbal)
