Social Media and Content Manager (SMCM)

444Media growing our Social Media and Content Marketing offerings to our clients. We therefore require a Social Media and Content Manager who is able to deeply understand the various social media platforms, and content types across paid, owned and earned platforms. The incumbent will have keen attention to detail for words and design, as well as be in touch with consumer behaviours across our clients markets in order to develop communication and messaging strategies for the various digital channels, including social media. The aim of the role is to support the team to develop beautiful content and stories that captivates the hearts and minds of 444Media’s clients customers. This is the go to person that translates our client’s objectives into meaningful messages, thumb-stop design, and engaging content for digital channels, especially Social Media.

Reporting to the MD responsibilities will include;
  • Developing and managing Social Media strategies that improve our clients businesses
  • Managing and Growing our customers Social Share of Voice (SSOV) and SM Communities
  • Managing where required publishing of content on our clients SM accounts
  • Building organic content strategies, plans, and calendars for our clients across paid, owned and earned media channels
  • Managing and training staff on SM tools and platforms, ensuring we remain abreast of trends
  • Managing external 3rd party content providers, incl. influencers, bloggers etc
  • Developing content marketing plans with external partners for editorials, advertorials and other sponsored content
  • Creating and managing content matrices, and briefing into production team via PDM
  • Developing and managing real-me content schedules, thus allowing us to know what content is needed, for whom, in what format, when, and for what digital channel
  • Remain abreast of existing and emerging digital content formats and build internal capabilities
  • Developing messaging, communication and content strategies for our clients digital strategies
  • Managing copy, translation and overall content and design quality control for the business
  • Regularly plan and lead internal workshops on Content Marketing and Social Media trends
